1. Delete it in the app
You can delete your own account at any time from the Scholva app. You need to be signed in.
- Scholva app on Android or iPhone: open the Me tab, then Privacy and data, then Delete my account, and confirm.
- If your Android app shows My profile: open My profile, go to Settings, tap Delete account and type DELETE to confirm.
The app then asks you to confirm it's you, with your password or with a code sent to your phone or email, and deletes the account straight away.
2. Delete it on the web
Sign in at app.scholva.com, open Profile, then Security, and choose Delete Account. You can also go straight to app.scholva.com/profile/delete-account.
Type DELETE, confirm it's you with your password or a code, and the account is deleted.
3. What is removed
As soon as you confirm:
- Your name, email address, phone number, photo, bio, address, emergency contact and password are removed from your account, and your username is replaced.
- You are signed out on every device and the web, and notifications to your devices stop.
- No one can sign in to the account again.
4. What is kept
Records your school, college or institution keeps, such as attendance, marks, fees and receipts, stay with that school or institution, which controls them; deleting your Scholva account does not delete them. Ask the school or institution about those records. Your date of birth and gender stay on the closed account record.
5. It cannot be undone
Deletion happens at once. There is no waiting period, and a deleted account cannot be restored or signed in to again. To use Scholva later, create a new account.
6. Students under 18
A parent or guardian can ask us to delete a student's account by writing to privacy@scholva.com with the student's name and their school or institution.
7. If you cannot sign in
Write to privacy@scholva.com from the email address on your account, or tell us the phone number you sign in with. We will check that the request comes from you before we delete anything, and we reply within 30 days.
For your other data rights, see our Privacy Policy.
